A few years back, James Wellbeloved was a good quality dog food, I used it myself for a long time, but if you look now at the ingredients list, you are buying a bag of food which is over 40% rice, when it used to be under 20%. Rice isn't necessarily bad for dogs, but it doesn't provide much nutrition either. This recipe change occurred shortly after James Wellbeloved was taken over by a large multi-national corporation, one that already makes the UK's top selling brands of dog food. Crown Petfoods, the owner of James Wellbeloved, is actually part of this multi-national. James Wellbeloved say they changed the recipe to improve the food for the benefit of the dogs who eat it, presumably then, the fact that rice is a cheap ingredient was not a factor in their decision. In fact, James Wellbeloved have changed the ingredients of all their dog food varieties, along with their cat and ferret food, they say to benefit the animals that eat it. I only give this food two stars, because, at the monent, it doesn't contain anything really bad. I respectfully suggest you carefully read the ingredients label on James Wellbeloved food, and please keep an eye out in case they change their recipes again, for the benefit of your pet of course. Over the last five years, GoPro has released a new sports action camera almost every year. This October, the latest iteration, the Hero 5 Black was released along with the Hero 5 Session.

First Impressions

This action-cam looks great. It’s sleek, light and feels modern. The colour was changed from silver to a matte grey which gives the camera a refreshing look. A 2″ touchscreen was built in and is no longer an ‘optional extra’.

It has two buttons and two openings. The doors are a bit annoying to get open once they now need to be waterproof and behind them you’ll find the battery and microSD slot in one and a USB-C and mini HDMI port in the other. The buttons are a record/stop and a power/mode button.

The Hero 5 comes with a ‘bumper’ case which allows you to use different GoPro mounts but doesn’t seem to provide much protection to the camera itself. The lens cap is easily replaceable, but the screen isn’t. Also, GoPro were very silly and shipped the camera with a non-clear screen protector (the ones you usually peel off when unpacking new products) and I therefore had to remove this and couldn’t use it as a make-do screen protector.

I don't usually write reviews but i was so impressed by this gopro that i felt compelled to leave one. I have read some poor reviews so i will address those...1) the image quality looks poor if you view it in the gopro mobile app. However, if you actually download it to your device and view it normally the quality is amazing. I have used it for both skiing and mountain biking (60fps/1080p/wide angle) and have been amazed at the clarity of both sound and video. Some people have also claimed that posting to Facebook provides poor quality, that is due to Facebook's compression not the device.
2) To those people claiming that the wifi stays on when you turn it off and drains the battery (unless you use the gopro mobile app to turn it off)...there is actually a second button on the back of the device that allows you to scroll the wifi on/off as well as all of the other key settings.

It annoys me when people leave poor reviews simply because they are ill informed or can't be bothered to read the manual or seek advice.

I would highly recommend this gopro to anyone that is looking for a cheaper, but still fully packed, action camera. Yes it has it's flaws, one of which is that you cannot exchange the battery. But i think the positives outweigh the negatives considerably.

I use to use James wellbeloved for my dog 3yo German Shepherd.
As I found any thing with poultry would just run out the other end of him.
Been using this for over a year now and well the compliments we get from vets. Is he the correct weight and has an excellent coat.
We use the guide given on the bag for age and weight and stick to it with the occasional treats.
To be-honest if you look at what is in James wellbeloved you will see exactly the same stuff for more than twice the amount.

Personally I think This is a good buy and with most dog foods you have to change what they are eating gradually or you will get problems.Dog Food Complete

I said in my review of Wagg Worker 'Beef and Veg' that I gave my dogs a variety of food. However, I noticed that recently the most of the protein content was beef, so I tried this Chicken variety. I was really testing it out on a few to see if too much red meat content may be the cause of some skin irritations. Not conclusive, but those that are on the Chicken seem to be doing better. Many are not bothered by the all beef diet, so i shall continue with both. But if you have been on the beef variety and have noticed more obvious scratching, this could be a good alternative.Dog Food Beef
